The Maddox venue in Cabbagetown hosted a vibrant and engaging floral experience on Friday, May 16, 2025. This special workshop, designed for 16 residents, invited participants to explore the art of floral design through a hands-on bouquet-making session.
In an inviting and creative environment, participants learned professional techniques for building and wrapping their own hand-tied bouquets. Surrounded by a curated selection of seasonal blooms and greenery, each guest created a one-of-a-kind floral arrangement to take home.
Colour Scheme: Spring happy colours – pink, white, yellow, orange, purple, and green.
Objective: To provide residents with an enjoyable, hands-on workshop experience where they could create personalized floral bouquets while learning foundational floral design skills.
Flower Types: Roses, ranunculus, tulips, solidago, limonium, chrysanthemums, and assorted seasonal greenery.
Workshop Setup:
Each participant received approximately 17–25 stems of fresh blooms and greenery. Professional tools, materials, and guidance were provided to ensure an enjoyable and enriching floral design experience.
The interactive nature of the workshop allowed for individual support from an experienced floral designer, resulting in professional-quality hand-tied bouquets crafted with personal flair.
The combination of cheerful spring tones and elegant flower varieties brought energy and creativity into the space, leaving each guest with a beautiful, fragrant keepsake.
