Event Duration: September 4-10, 2025
Our floral studio provided sophisticated green installations for Visa's exclusive TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) activation in downtown Toronto. This high-profile corporate event required elegant plantscaping that would complement the urban festival atmosphere while creating an inviting outdoor dining and entertainment space.
Project Scope: 7 custom planters designed to enhance the street-level activation area outside Minami Restaurant during one of Toronto's most prestigious cultural events.
Design Concept: Clean, modern plantings that balanced the corporate branding with natural elements, creating an oasis effect in the busy downtown festival environment.
Plant Selection:
- Bamboo Palms (4-5 ft tall) - 2 per planter for vertical structure and tropical elegance
- Trailing Ivy, assorted varieties - 4 per planter for cascading texture and fullness
Color Scheme: Lush green foliage complementing Visa's blue branding and TIFF's signature aesthetic.
Objective: To create an elevated, Instagram-worthy environment that would attract festival-goers while providing a sophisticated backdrop for Visa's brand activation and hospitality experiences.
Installation Details:
- Early morning delivery and setup (6:00-7:00 AM) to minimize disruption to busy King Street West
- Strategic planter placement to define the event space while maintaining pedestrian flow
- Durable, weather-resistant plantings suitable for week-long outdoor exhibition
The installation successfully transformed the urban streetscape into a premium hospitality environment, providing a green sanctuary that enhanced both the guest experience and brand presentation during Toronto's most celebrated film festival.
